Clearly ecstatic about the news he is becoming a father for the first time, Kanye West is said to be planning on recording "child-friendly" songs for his unborn child, using Dr. Seuss as inspiration.
The 'Clique' rapper announced that he and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are expecting their first child together, during a concert at Atlantic City's Revel Resort two weeks ago.
With reality star Kim believed to be three months pregnant, Kanye is getting to work on recording new music of the nursery kind, with sources claiming the rapper is a huge fan of Dr. Seuss's classic children stories.
"Kanye's going to record child-friendly raps of Dr. Seuss, who he's a big fan of," an insider told The Sun.
Perhaps yummy mummy Kim will get involved on the tracks, with recent reports claiming Kanye is trying to persuade her to lend her vocals so their child can listen to them when they are older.
"Kanye's really in touch with his feelings. He wants Kim to lay down some vocals while she's carrying his child," a source told the Daily Star.
"He thinks it'll be cool for his son or daughter to listen to the track when they're older."
Kanye could be following the footsteps of his 'big bro' Jay-Z, who released 'Glory', a track dedicated to his daughter Blue Ivy.
Yes, Kanye is creative, but we're not so sure about the Dr. Seuss idea!
