'Hunger Games' star Jennifer Lawrence is retiring Katniss Everdeen's bow and arrow and taking to comedy.
Fans of the action series however shouldn't worry too much as its only for this weekend, as she's appearing on US comedy show Saturday Night Live.
According to Access Hollywood, the star laughed on the set of 'Hunger Games' sequel 'Catching Fire' as she said: “No, I retired my bow and arrow for this weekend.”
The actress has proved her comic chops, albeit in a darker form than SNL in latest movie 'Silver Linings Playbook', which has led to the star gaining an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
The star, is currently the favourite with the bookies to take home the little gold statue, but was concentrating more on having fun as she prepared for her presenting stint on the show.

Lawrence said: “Oh my God, it’s been amazing,” adding: “I don’t think I’ve ever laughed this much in my entire life."
The actress gushed about the SNL cast, “It’s just been incredible”, continuing: “It’s just amazing working with people — their job is just to be funny all day every day. You are in a room with some of the funniest people in the entire world.”
