Despite his new movie being called 'Bullet To The Head' and having popularly starred as Rambo, Sylvester Stallone is no fan of the gun lobby, and thinks that assault weapons should be banned.
The star told the AP: “I know people get [upset] and go, ’They’re going to take away the assault weapon.’ [Who] needs an assault weapon?” adding: “Like really, unless you’re carrying out an assault."
The 'Expendables' star continued: “You can’t hunt with it… Who’s going to attack your house, a f*****g army?”

However although Stallone was more explicit in his condemnation than fellow action star Arnold Scwarzenegger, he did cite one of the areas that his fellow Expendable mentioned when promoting his movie 'The Last Stand', namely mental health.
Stallone said: ”It’s unbelievably horrible, what’s happened. I think the biggest problem, seriously, is not so much guns. It’s that every one of these people that have done these things in the past 30 years are friggin’ crazy.,” he added: “That’s where we’ve dropped the ball: mental health. That to me is our biggest problem in the future, is insanity coupled with isolation.”
