Ben Affleck bagged yet another award for his smash hit film 'Argo' at last night's Director's Guild Awards, with his win perhaps helped by his children's adorable good luck doodles scribbled on their dad's hand.
Ben continued his winning streak in LA yesterday, winning the top honour at the star-studded Director's Guild Awards. Whilst his film 'Argo' seems to be doing well all on it's own it probably didn't hurt that director and dad Affleck was sporting some unusual good luck charms.

It's become somewhat of a tradition for family man Ben to let his daughters write messages on his hands ahead of this season's awards shows. At the Critics Choice Awards last month the filmmaker alluded to the handiwork in his acceptance speech:
"My daughter wrote my name on my hand for luck,' he said. 'I don't know how that works, but I guess it worked, so you can look forward to seeing more of this!"
And last night we did as Ben showed of more doodles on the red carpet courtsey of his daugthers Violet and Seraphina with the artwork reading 'I [heart] Papa. Good Luck.' Cute!

Ben had another good luck charm at the awards as he was accompanied by his gorgeous wife Jennier Garner who looked stunning in a white Antonio Berardi cocktail dress.
Here's hoping Ben's charms will help his film win the big one- the Academy Award for Best Picture on February 24.
