Sandra Bullock Heading To Super Bowl To Support Ravens' Star Michael Oher After 'Blind Side' Role

Hollywood star has special interest in Super Bowl

The Baltimore Ravens will have an unlikely lead cheerleader at the Super Bowl in New Orleans tonight in Hollywood star Sandra Bullock, who's set to attend the game to support Ravens offensive-linebacker Michael Oher.

Bullock's support is due to the fact that she played Oher's adoptive mother in the 2009 movie 'The Blind Side', Leigh Anne Tuohy, for which she won an Oscar.

The movie told the story of how Tuohy took in Oher aged 17, rescuing the youngster from a life of foster care and helping him explore his talent as an American footballer, something that eventually led to him being drafted by the Ravens in 2009.

According to Michael's mum Leigh Anne, Sandra will be following every element of the game and is expected to attend.

Tuohy told the AP: “She’s a great advocate of doing the right thing,” adding:  “She’s a big giver. She follows Michael’s career every step of the way. It’s funny. I’ll get texts during the game: ‘Why did they do this? They shouldn’t have done that.’”

Her husband Sean said of Bullock’s portrayal of his wife: “She hit it right down to the look, the action, the whole thing.”

So it seems that Sandra will be there, hoping for the blockbuster finish to her movie, even after its release.
