Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble' Is '100 Per Cent About Harry Styles'

The singer pens another song during her heartbreak split

Taylor Swift is well known for her songs reflecting on her own break-ups and past relationships and her single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is no different.

It appears 1D star Harry Styles has become the latest victim of Swift's songwriting as it has been revealed that her latest track, 'I Knew You Were Trouble' is about her fling with the One Direction star, which lasted over Christmas and New Year.

The pair had an on-off relationship, starting their romance in April but breaking up shortly after when Harry was seen kissing a model in Australia.

During the last months of 2012 the romance was rekindled, and the pair were spotted together at places such as Central Park in New York over Christmas, but broke up over New Year while on holiday in the British Virgin Islands.

A source told Radar Online: “Taylor was crushed over Harry the first time they dated, and like she always does, she penned a song about him to deal with her broken heart.''

"'I Knew You Were Trouble' is one hundred percent about Harry. She knew he was young and popular with the ladies and wasn't ready for a serious relationship, but somehow hoped she could make it work.''

"She was head over heels for Harry so even though she knew he was bad news for her, she gave him another chance.''

Some of the lyrics on the hit include: ''I knew you were trouble when you walked in, so shame on me now, flew me to places I'd never been, until you put me down.''

Despite a far from amicable split and chances they might bump into each other at the BRITS, Styles has recently told Grazia magazine: "I'm not worried about seeing her at all. She's a sweet girl, you know. I don't have a bad word to say about her."

Styles is performing with his bandmates One Direction at the BRITS tomorrow as well as being nominated for an award.
