Kim Kardashian Marriage Won't Last, Says Kanye West's Grandfather

If they wed, Buddy won't be there: 'I don't do weddings. I've never seen one make it'

Kanye West took Kim Kardashian to visit his grandfather in Oklahoma City, where she impressed the 97 year-old with her beauty, manners and riches. He thinks she's a 'sweet' girl, but should their marriage go ahead, he's refusing to attend!

Kanye's grandfather Portwood Williams Snr was one of his biggest influences growing up, taking a great interest in his grandson's career and giving him advice. He has warned the rapper that marriage rarely lasts, and reportedly insists he will not attend the ceremony should Kanye wed Kim Kardashian.

While Portland was married to Kanye's grandmother Lucille for an incredible 72 years, Kim's last marriage to basketball player Kris Humphries lasted just 72 days. According to The Sun, when Portland was made aware of this fact he laughed, saying:

“They didn’t make it. But I want everybody to be happy and evidently she got who she wanted now. She’s found a good man.”

But what does Portland think about Kanye's possible marriage to Kim? Even though she's pregnant with Kanye's child, reportedly a girl, he won't be going to their wedding. The Sun reports:

“I’ve never met anyone who was married as long as me", he said.

“I don’t do weddings. I don’t like weddings. I’ve never seen one make it. You spend a lot of money, then in weeks you’re separated.

“All of my daughters — they never did make it. Kanye’s mother and daddy divorced too.”

Kim and Kanye allegedly turned up at Portland's Oklahoma City home without the cameras of her fly-on-the-wall show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and she charmed him instantly. He added:

“She’s beautiful and just as sweet as she is beautiful — and that’s what I like.

“She was down to earth, she’s rich and those kind of people have got everything.

“Kanye never calls me and tells me he’s coming, he just turns up. They stayed here, talking to me. They stayed about four or five hours. We had a lot of fun laughing and talking.”

Portland, affectionately known as Buddy by Kanye, taught the rapper everything he knows. According to The Sun, he said:

“I told him, ‘Trust no one’. It’s a dirty world out there that he’s in. Don’t get too close to nobody. Life is so beautiful, just live.”

Sounds like good advice... and sounds like Buddy doesn't fully trust Kim!
