Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has slated the Spice Girls' 2012 London Olympics closing ceremony performance, claiming the singer's didn't do the “justice” for Brits while describing their set as “horrifying.”
Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C and Geri Halliwell reunited for the first time in several years last summer to perform during the closing ceremony for the London Olympics, singing a medley of their classic hits.

While the band's longtime fans were excited to see the girls together again, there was no pleasing some as Kasabian frontman Tom says their performance was abysmal.
“We were on tour during the Olympics but I saw some bits on telly. There were some horrifying bits, like The Spice Girls. That really didn't do the place justice,” Tom told The Sun.
He added: “That was the most horrifying bit. It was just horrible.”
No doubt Tom is confident that Kasabian will do the Olympic Park “justice” when the band headline this year's Hard Rock Calling alongside Bruce Springsteen in June.

Speaking about their upcoming gig, Tom told the newspaper: “We'll be the first band to play the park, so it's great.
“It's our only headline gig this year in England so it's wonderful. Some amazing bands have played Hard Rock Calling. It will be cool to be in the Olympic Park.
“We're the youngest act to headline the festival. The Killers have got about 10 years on us so it's an honour.”
