Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted out for the first time since her visit to Grimsby and the world went into over drive following speculation she's expecting a girl, as she was seen yesterday shopping for maternity wear at Peter Jones in Kensington.
Showing off her bump the 31 year-old, who is five months pregnant, was clearly feeling thrifty as she browsed Peter Jones concession, Seraphine snapping up a £39 Brooke dress, maternity tights and leggings, staff confirmed to Marie Claire at the Slone Square store. Clearly the Duchess is already gearing up to dress her bump during the summer months as she isn't due until July.
The royal is said to be a fan of the line, with her personal assistant contacting Seraphine to request their look book before she browsed their range. The dress she chose has an empire line and falls to just below the knee and according to Seraphine's website is, “the ultimate summer maternity wardrobe investment.”
The sighting of the Duchess comes as St James' Palace announced the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be visiting the offices of Child Bereavement UK at the Clare Charity Centre in Saunderton Buckinghamshire on March 19.
