Sarah Jessica Parker will never wear what she considers to be cheap shoes again after sustaining an unlikely injury in a plastic pair from Nine West.
Since playing self-confessed shoe obsessive Carrie Bradshaw in hit TV show Sex And The City, Sarah Jessica Parker has rarely left the world of Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik when choosing what heels to wear.

But playing working mother Kate Reddy in the 2011 film I Don't Know How She Does It called for cheaper styles, which the actress blames for a painful ankle injury.
Nine West shoes retail at around £110, which many of us mere mortals would consider a decent investment, but not Sarah!
"So I got shoes from [Nine West] and the bottom of the shoes aren't leather, they are plastic, so I slipped a couple times and twisted my ankle," she said.
"I went to a foot doctor and he said, 'Your foot does things it shouldn't be able to do. That bone there - you've created that bone. It doesn't belong there", she told Vogue.
A valid case for only buying expensive designer shoes? We can totally get on board!
