Crazy, Stupid, Blub! Ryan Gosling Helpline Set Up For Devastated Fans As He 'Quits Acting'

The actor is taking a break from acting, and his fans aren't happy

Ryan Gosling fans can worry no more – no, the hunk hasn't had second thoughts about his temporary retirement, but a helpline HAS been set up for those struggling to come to terms with the devastating news.

A string of box-office hits has turned the 32-year-old actor into the hottest property in Hollywood, but instead of embracing success the softly-spoken star has made the unexpected decision to take a break from acting – and it hasn't gone down well with his enormous fanbase.

As a result, an emergency helpline has been created by Blinkbox to help nurse those grieving fans through the bereavement of not seeing dreamy Ryan on the big screen – for the foreseeable future, at least.

Callers phoning the 'Gosline' will be treated to their favourite lines from the actor's back catalogue of films, including this one from 2004 tear-jerker The Notebook: “So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day.”

A spokesperson for Blinkbox has admitted that the new service is a reaction to Ryan's 'selfish' decision to temporarily withdraw from the acting world.

“We couldn't bear the thought of the distress caused by Ryan's announcement,” he said. “We hope this goes some way to relieving the pain and hurt caused by his selfish decision to take a break.”

The new move mirrors the 'Twi-Line' that was set up earlier this month to help fans struggling to cope with the end of The Twilight Saga.

It's not all doom and gloom though, Ryan will soon be back on the big screen in latest movie The Place Beyond the Pines.
