The morning after the ill-fated fancy dress house party, the atmosphere was still tense following the argument between Charlotte and Gary. Anna called the Geordie Shore house and told Charlotte in no uncertain terms to pack her things, and get out. Charlotte, still battling with her twisted ankle, packed her stuff and drove away - leaving Scramble, Egg and Toast the goldfish without a mum.
To lighten the mood, Anna announced that the Geordie Shore crew were being sent to the French Alps. The boys and girls started packing, but the mood of the group was strangely downbeat, still mourning Charlotte’s departure. On arrival at the mountains, the girls shot-gunned the best rooms, as Sophie revealed to camera (but not the rest of the crew) that she had secretly invited Joel to fly out, and that he would be arriving the next day.
As the group got ready for their first night out, Gaz admitted that it didn’t feel the same without Charlotte, and was not looking forward to the rest of the trip at all. Dan and Scott were less than sympathetic, failing to see why Gary couldn’t be happy that he was free to go on the pull – apparently what he wanted in the first place!
The first night in the Alps continued in typical Geordie fashion, and the girls ended up mortal. Vicky was still enjoying her time apart from Ricky, drunkenly downing drink after drink. Scott and Holly engaged in a bit of harmless banter, but it essentially came to nothing as Holly just got too drunk and ended up being kicked out of bed. Despite the state of the group, they headed out to the slopes for a day of skiing, and Scott managed to convince Holly to give it a go.

None of the girls can ski whatsoever, and Vicky, who was still drunk, spent most of the day shouting at fellow skiers to “MOVE OUT THE WAY!” The boys fared slightly better, but at the end of a long day, the group were only interested in one thing: The après ski. Just as the group settled in to their post-slope shandies, Joel turned up, to everyone’s annoyance. In a random twist of events, Anna then called up and sent the boys, plus Joel, out to work. Gaz, Dan and Scott hatched a devious plan to get him completely and utterly wasted, but by the end of the night, the only one who couldn't hold his drink was poor old Dan.
The whole GS crew headed out to a club, and everyone was getting on like a house on fire. Holly celebrated with a Geordie Shore ‘slut drop’ ...and her skirt split open right up the back. The next morning, James was furious at being kept awake all night by Scott’s farting and snoring, but the greatest suffering by far was demonstrated by Dan, who endured an epic hangover and had to go back to bed at midday.
As the boys and girls packed up on the last day in the Alps, the group were feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, despite the cold. Scott proclaimed the Alps as their “best trip ever” and Sophie proudly announced that she and Joel were defying the Geordie Shore relationship curse. Even Vicky had to admit that Joel was growing on her. They headed back to Newcastle feeling happy, and ready to celebrate their last night out as a group. For series three, that is.
Back home, the girls phoned Charlotte and begged her to come out for the final hurrah, but she was adamant that she didn't want to see Gary, and said no. Sophie, Vicky and Holly were gutted, and tensions between the boys and girls started to grow. Meanwhile, Vicky’s nerves were mounting as she prepared herself for seeing Ricky for the first time since before the ski trip. When he finally arrived however, he completely ignored her, and so a dejected Vicky took herself straight off to the dance floor. Later, he did come to her and offered a reserved kiss on the cheek, but privately to camera, he said that she looked stunning and he couldn't believe what he’d lost.
Outside the club, they both had a civilised chat and agreed to keep working on themselves separately, and after ending the night with a cheeky kiss, Ricky headed home alone. The rest of the GS house headed back to the apartment and called it a night. The final morning, the whole group decided to end on a good note, and there were friendly goodbyes all-round. Vicky left, knowing that she has some big decisions to make about Ricci.
The boys said goodbye to James, and secretly admitted to camera that they don’t think James will be back for another series now that he is with girlfriend Kate. Finally, Gaz, still thinking about Charlotte, decided to drive to Charlotte’s house to deliver her goldfish. After short wait on her doorstep, Gaz realised that this time, Charlotte wasn't coming down. Scramble, Egg and Toast were left on the doorstep, and Gaz turned around, and drove away.
