Britain's Got Talent's Alice Fredenham: 'I Would Sign A Recording Contract With Simon Cowell Tomorrow'

Singer says her family are 'supportive and proud' of audition

After wowing Simon Cowell with her sultry vocals on Saturday night, Britain's Got Talent hopeful Alice Fredenham has admitted that she would snap up a record deal with the music mogul if she was offered it.

Alice, who was previously rejected by the BBC's singing competition The Voice, impressed the Britain's Got Talent judges with her acoustic rendition of 'My Funny Valentine', despite battling severe nerves throughout her audition.

But now, the shy singer has revealed that she would "never turn down the opportunity" of being offered a recording contract by Simon, despite believing that a talent competition would allow her vital experience of the music industry.

"I would never turn down that opportunity", Alice gushed to EntertainmentWise."It's flattering to think that that could be the case, but obviously experience is huge".

However, the 28-year-old quickly changed her mind and confessed: "Who am I trying to kid? I'd do it. It's a yes from me".

When EntertainmentWise wondered how her family had reacted to the news of her audition after she had kept it a secret from them, Alice insisted: "They were just really shocked. It was just lovely to tell them such positive news, it was lovely that everyone's been really supportive and said how proud they are of me".

And even though her audition only aired on Saturday night, the singing sensation has already been dreaming of who she might like to work with one day.

"I think a lot of the people I'd love to duet with might be dead now, which is such a shame", Alice mused, before adding excitedly: "But Stevie Wonder. I saw him in concert and I thought, 'I'd like to be his backing singer'".
