Gwyneth Paltrow's stylist Elizabeth Saltzman has defended the Iron Man 3 star's recent dress that turned heads as the actress couldn't wear underwear with it, and not only that Gwyneth claimed that she had to use a razor before hitting the red carpet.
The blonde actress was recently voted World's Most Beautiful by People magazine, and when she stepped our in a gown with sheer panels, she was instantly slammed.
One fashion critic dubbed the frock as "the most vulgar, look-at-me, attention-seeking dress," but the Oscar-winning actress' stylist isn't taking the criticism well and has defended the Antonio Berardi dress.

"Not only was it our first choice, it's [also] beautiful, it's cool, it's daring in a no-daring way. Nonthreatening. Elegant," Gwyneth told Us Weekly.
"It looked great on her. It showed off her body. It's spirit without being vulgar."
The 40-year-old actress has got "confidence" according to Saltzman, and works hard for her body.
"The point is that this girl has taste, this girl has confidence. And she's not flaunting anything but the hard work that she's put into being a happy body, happy person, healthy person. You don't see a whole lot of false fakeness going on there like some other people. She's always classic with a twist, classic with an edge," Saltzman continued.
Gwyneth later revealed that she felt "humiliated" by the dress, after being caught unprepared - claiming that she had needed a good trim before braving the dress on the red carpet.
"I was doing a show and I changed there and I couldn't wear underwear. I don't think I can tell this story on TV," she laughed. “Well, let's just say everyone went scrambling for a razor. …I work a '70s vibe. You know what I mean?"
