Peaches Geldof has claimed she was "amazed" that her second son Phaedra Bloom was born on the same day as her late mother Paula Yates.
The famous daughter of Sir Bob Geldof gave birth to her second child with husband Thomas Cohen on April 24 and though he was born by caesarean section, Peaches insisted she didn't plan it and was given the date by the hospital.
"It wasn't an option," she told Hello! magazine. "Maybe it is if you go private, but we didn't and were given the date randomly by a consultant.
"I was pretty amazed when I read it though, and had to smile. I couldn't help feeling mum must have had a hand in it."
Phaedra's big brother Astala arrived just last year and was also meant to arrive on April 24, prompting Peaches to believe it was her mother's wish for her grandchild to share her birthday.
"It's like mum was very determined that one of her grandsons would be born on her birthday," she claimed.
"There's this kind of crazy synchronicity to it."

Peaches confirmed last November she was pregnant with her second child just seven months after giving birth to her first child and though she admitted to being initially shocked, admitted she and husband Thomas were "over the moon".
"Finding out I was pregnant again so soon was quite a shock," she told Hello magazine, "Tom was so happy. He loves being a dad so much and is brilliant with Astala, who totally adores him, so he was over the moon."
Speaking about extending her family even further Peaches admitted two was enough for now.
"I'm going to be concentrating on the two boys," she claimed.
"So I don't think I'll be adding to our little brood until later on in my life when I'm older and don't have two toddlers running around demanding all of Tom's and my attention.
"I may be only 23 and the only one of our friends who's married, got a baby and one on the way... but it's a life I've dreamed of and I couldn't be happier."
