The X Factor USA revealed it’s new judging panel this week with Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio joining Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato, but it sounds like that’s not the only shake up viewers can expect with Fox’s president teasing some “major format changes.”
Kelly, Paulina, Demi and Simon hit the audition circuit this week, kicking off the first round of the 2013 season of the talent show. Whilst viewers will have to wait awhile to see Mr Cowell and co back on their screens, the network behind the show has teased that things could look very different when the new season begins.

Fox's president of alternative entertainment Mike Darnell has revealed that a number of changes are in the works, though he refused to reveal any details: "There will be [changes], but I can't go into that yet," he said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly "Some of them will be major."
Darnell admitted that he doesn't know yet what impact the new judges will have, adding: "Obviously, no-one's had three women judges. You have this Charlie's Angels thing going on with Simon Cowell. From what I heard, it went very well [at the first audition]."
"If anything we've learned that big names don't draw a lot of viewers to the shows. They have to be a great judge. It has to feel familial and fun. That's the main thing."
We bet Si isn't complaining about all the ladies...
