Ciara Tosses 'Legal Papers' Into Crowd After Being Served 'Lawsuit' During Performance (WATCH)

The star is being sued by West Hollywood Club

Ciara received a pretty unpleasant gift while on stage in LA this weekend when she was allegedly served legal papers during her performance at this weekend's LA Pride after a bar is said to have filed a lawsuit against the 'Body Party' singer for cancelling a performance at the Hollywood club.

But does she care? Ciara was having none of it simply tossing the papers to her crowd of adoring fans. Apparently the 27-year-old failed to appear at West Hollywood club The Factory on Friday night after allegedly signing a $10,000 deal to perform at the venue, according to reports.

However the R&B star's representatives have fought back claiming they had clearly told the venue that Ciara would be unable to appear at the club due to contractual obligations with LA Pride but they continued to promote her appearance anyway, reports TMZ.

The Factory reportedly claim otherwise acknowledging the singer wouldn't be performing but according to the lawsuit were led to believe Ciara would still be turning up to make an appearance.

A video posted on TMZ shows a woman handing Ciara a bunch of papers as the singer performed in a sexy red leather ensemble.

“She got served,” the lady says in the clip before leaving the papers on stage.

Meanwhile, the Grammy-award winner recently released her self-titled new album 'Ciara' which features an exciting new collaboration with former 'American Idol' judge Nicki Minaj.
