Kate Middleton is due to give birth at any moment and new reports now suggest that when the Royal baby does make an appearance, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly planning on taking the little one on tour with them, aiming to hit Australia and New Zealand in 2014.

According to Us Weekly, Kate and William are already planning a "spring 2014 Royal baby tour", just like Will's mother did. Princess Diana took 9 month old Prince William down under when she travelled to Aus with Prince Charles back in 1983, so could Kate and her other half be planning a similar thing?

"The trip is planned for Australia and New Zealand," an insider told the magazine.

"While it is a deeply personal and private event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge realise this is a time of national celebration and that there will be vast interest in the baby," a spokesman told the publication back in June, adding: "They realise many people will want to share in their happiness."

Following the newborn's arrival, William will take a two-week paternity leave before resuming his Royal Air Force duties and it seems like Kate may need all the help that she can get, as sources also say that she realises what hard work it's going to be once the little one makes an appearance.

"She's still busy, making sure she's done as much as possible for the new house before the baby is born," the insider adds, adding: "Once the baby is here, she won't have time for anything else!"
