The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her baby any day now as it seems that that the whole world has the champagne on ice in anticipation. A source has now confirmed that Kate Middleton's due date "has passed", following suggestions that the royal tot was due today.
Kate, who is said to be keeping low-profile at her parents home in Bucklebury while she waits to go into labour, won't have to wait too long as the baby could arrive at any moment now.
The Telegraph has suggested that Kate's 'real' due date was today (July 19) following speculation that her due date was July 13, with the newspaper reporting that staff members at London's St. Mary's Hospital have been told to avoid alcohol and be on their absolute best behaviour as Kate and her husband Prince William could be arriving at a moment's notice.
According to Us Weekly, Kate's due date was not today that was "not true" and they added: "Kate's due date has passed."
But whenever 31-year-old Kate goes into labour, the first-time mum has a very detailed plan in place as the palace staff is "on call every day and night in July for this. There is nothing left to prepare or plan for," a palace source told the US magazine.
Meanwhile Prince William is not working at the moment as he worked several shifts for the Royal Air Force last week at their base in Anglesey.
"William is not on paternity leave yet but he has had to take time off work now," a RAF insider reportedly told the ma. "He did double shifts the week before he returned to London. We're all on the edge of our seats for news. I thought the baby would be born by now!"
