Congrats to Cara Delevingne who, according to reports, has landed her first film role playing a party girl in a new Brit movie.

The model of the moment will appear in Kids In Love, a drama about hard-partying young Londoners. As insiders point out to the Mail On Sunday, the role isn't likely to be much of a stretch for party girl Cara:

"The film is all about rich kids who live a wild lifestyle filled with parties and drugs. So some aspects of the storyline will not be a particularly big stretch for Cara," said a friend of the model.

"It will be Cara’s first big screen role, so she’s really excited about it and is eager to make sure that she does a good job. Her name in itself will obviously be a big draw for the film too."

The movie is being directed by Cara's friend Preston Thompson and will begin shooting at Ealing Studios in September.

It's not the first time Cara has tested her acting abilities, she was prevously seen in a blink and you'll miss it role in 2012's Anna Karenina starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

It's been a headline grabbing week for Cara who according to reports has allegedly been dropped as a model for H&M after being snapped with a bag of mystery white powder in May.

The fashion icon definitely got herself in a sticky situation when she was caught dropping the suspicious looking bag outside her London flat. A spokesperson for H&M downplayed the magazine reports at the weekend though, saying that she was never officially on their roster.

They also denied that there was any particular reason behind their lack of plans to work with her again. They said: "She is not a model with us, and I think there was a misunderstanding that she was the face of H&M. We just used her for a show".

She added, “At this moment in time, I don't know [if we will use her again], but not for any particular reason."
