Rihanna has declared herself to be the "Empress" of music video site VEVO after becoming the first artist to reach 4 billion views.
The hitmaker's string of hugely-successful visuals have seen her being named the most-viewed artist ever.
Celebrating on Twitter and Instagram, she had posted: "Your fave is basic!! #VEVOEmpress".
VEVO confirmed to EntertainmentWise that she had indeed reached the milestone, and will be celebrated in a huge special on the site's dedicated TV channels across the pond.
"I can confirm Rihanna has broken the 4 billion views mark across the full VEVO platform," they said.
"In celebration of her milestone VEVO are also airing an hour of Rihanna’s videos on VEVO TV at 4pm EST/9pm BST today (although this is US and Canada only at the moment, VEVO TV is launching in the UK later this year)."
Rihanna's most-viewed video is 'Diamonds', which has 330.6 million views; followed by 'What's My Name?' on 320.5 million.
'Only Girl (In The World)' has 289.5 million, and 'We Found Love' has 285 million.
