Ditching The Diet? Kate Middleton, Duchess Of Cambridge Hits McDonald's

Looks like even royalty likes a burger or two

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge has managed to get her post-baby body back in record time and it seems she's even ditching the diet as the royal was spotted at McDonald's earlier this week.

The new mum was reportedly heading to Kensington Palace from her rented home on Anglesey in North Wales when she made the stop off at the fast food outlet. The Duchess looked dressed down in black skinny jeans a green blazer and ballet pumps as she headed into the restaurant and was reportedly at the wheel of her car as her team arrived at the service station.

While she might have definitely stepped under the famous golden arches, the brunette came out empty-handed - so it might have been more of a facilities stop than to gorge on food.

Kate, who gave birth to her first child Prince George on July 22, has looked remarkably slim since coming back into the spotlight. Stepping out for the first time at the end of August, she accompanied husband Prince William to the official opening of the Ring O'Fire Ultra Marathon and showed off her slim figure with no hint she'd only recently given birth.

The Duchess, who reportedly had new baby Prince George with her on the trip, is heading to London ahead of her red carpet appearance at the Tusk Trust Ball later this week. It's the first time she's been in the capital since giving birth.

After her and Prince William took their little bundle of joy home from the Lindo Wing of St Mary's hospital, they only spent one night at their Kensington Palace residence, Nottingham Cottage before heading to Kate's parents home in Bucklebury, Berkshire.

She then travelled to Angelsey to join husband Prince William, who had headed back to work as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot after two weeks paternity leave.
