Tom Cruise Takes Suri Bungee Jumping As He 'Closes Entire Park For Daughter And Friends'

Actor's rep apparently asked the park to close for a 'special guest'

Tom Cruise used his celebrity status to shut an entire bungee jumping ground to throw a party for his daughter Suri, according to new reports.

The Boots and BirdiesCentre in Lake Placid, New York, which also offers mini golf, have said that they got a call from Tom's rep asking if they could close the whole place for a "special guest."

This "special guest" was Suri Cruise, according to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise newspaper, who said that the seven-year-old and some of her friends and their security team turned up at the park for a day of fun.

Local Scotty Marshall told the paper: ''The kids seemed to have a wonderful time,'' adding that Tom was ''friendly but quiet ... videotaping his daughter''.

Owner of Boots and Birdies, Terry Nichols, said Tom and Suri were impressed by Lake Placid village, which has a population of just 2,500 and is located in upstate New York.

He said: ''They said they liked Lake Placid because of the quietness and lack of paparazzi, and they said they would return.''

Meanwhile, it was revealed last month that Tom is allegedly planning on moving to London, setting his sights on the swish Notting Hill and St. John's Wood areas.

A source told the US edition of OK! Magazine: ''Tom has been planning to set up base in Europe for about four years and he is finally ready to make it happen. He is utterly charmed by London and wants to get a place in Notting Hill or St John's Wood.

''Tom is happy because he thinks putting down roots in London will allow him to take Suri for longer stretches of time."

''He is just trying to do something nice for Suri," they continued. "She has been grounded in the United States for a long time and Tom wants to make sure she gets to experience life fully and know other cultures. He doesn't want her to grow up to be a narrow minded person who's afraid to use her passport.''
