Following the birth of her son, Adele has kept a fairly low profile despite picking up an Oscar for her James Bond theme tune Skyfall, but it sounds as if the movies have captured the British singer as she could be set to play iconic 60s star Dusty Springfield in a new movie.
According to the Daily Star, the 25-year-old has been asked to play singer Dusty Springfield in a film about her life, a project that has apparently been in the pipeline for years.

Welsh singer Duffy and actress Nicole Kidman were rumoured to be in the running for the role, but we think Adele is the perfect - and obvious - choice.
Not only has she got the vocals but she looks a little bit like the late singer, who died in 1999 aged just 59.
And the Londoner is also a big fan of the singer and cites Son of a Preacher Man as her favourite song.
Sources told the paper the movie will be set during the late 1960s when Dusty moved to Memphis to work with producers at Atlantic records.
David Stenn, who writes HBO drama series Boardwalk Empire, is on board to write the script and shooting begins early next year.

But as exciting as this is for Adele, it could be quite a challenge for her, as she once said that she gets nervous around actors.
Adele once made an appearance on US show Ugly Betty but she said it didn't go as smoothly as she'd hoped. She said: “I was such a mug on that show. I wasn’t meant to say anything because you have to have an actor’s visa in America.
“I was meant to mime my song but I turned up and they gave me a script and I had to speak as part of the storyline.
“Because I was in America, I put on a fake English accent. Everyone I know was taking the p*** out of me.”
