A photo that was posted online yesterday allegedly showing Justin Bieber smoking a joint has been slammed as a doctored image by insiders close to the Heartbreaker singer.
The picture first started to emerge on social networking sites over the weekend, and while Justin hasn't yet commented on the image, insiders have insisted the image has been doctored to look like the 19 year-old was holding marijuana. According to TMZ, sources have insisted the image has been photoshopped to make it look like he was smoking.

They also went on to insist, despite much speculation, that the girl sitting next to Justin Bieber is not 20 year-old singer Ariana Grande. The brunette has been supporting Bieber on certain dates of his Believe world tour and has been forced to play down speculation she was romantically involved with the teen heart-throb after posting a picture of him kissing her cheek online.
Insisting though they're not as close as they might appear, Ariana recently told J-14: "It’s funny - everybody thinks we spent so much time together because we were touring, but really, I think I saw him once, and it was for about five minutes."

It's not the first time Justin has been caught with the illegal substance. In January pictures of the star appearing to smoke a joint at a party were leaked online.
Despite the ongoing controversy Justin's concentrating on his career, and new single Heartbreaker has already hit number one in 52 countries on iTunes despite only being released yesterday.
Justin described the track as "a song for people going through heartbreak—like I was when I wrote it,” prompting speculation the track is in fact an ode to his former flame Selena Gomez who he famously dated until their infamous split following allegations of his cheating earlier this year.
In a bid to cheer up Monday mornings, the Biebs has confirmed he will be releasing a brand new track from his upcoming album every Monday for the next 10 weeks as part of his new Music Mondays promotion.
