Louis Tomlinson has announced some exciting news for fans this morning, revealing that One Direction's new single will be titled 'Story Of My Life,' just as bandmate Harry Styles admits that the group are “nervous” about releasing their new album 'Midnight Memories.'
The five-piece boy band enjoyed mass success with 'Best Song Ever,' the lead single from their upcoming third studio album and the soundtrack for their concert movie 'This Is Us,' with the track peaking at number two in both the US and UK and even winning the Song of the Summer at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

Ready to follow hot on its heels, Louis revealed that the band are preparing to release the album's second single, tweeting earlier today: “So our next single is gonna be Story of My Life !”
Along with the announcement, Louis took a trip down memory lane and shared a photo of himself from his childhood, complete with a bowl hair cut and cheeky grin, while posing alongside two other young friends.
Liam Payne also got in on the action and confirmed the single by sharing a snap from his younger days, posing alongside a wizard at what looks to be a theme park. We're still waiting on Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan to release their adorable childhood photos.

Meanwhile, One Direction are coming to the end of their 'Take Me Home' world tour with their final leg currently taking place across Australia and New Zealand, with just two extra shows in Tokyo, Japan on November 2nd and 3rd. The lads will then enjoy a few weeks of much-needed rest and promotional duties before finally releasing 'Midnight Memories' on November 25.

Speaking about the album recently, Harry told Australian radio hosts Fifi and Jules: “This is the bit where everyone kind of experiences the same feeling. There's a lot of stuff where, in terms of people we work with like the record label who are always doing different jobs - it's now like we've all worked towards this...It's about to come out so everyone's a bit nervous.”
After being told that the boys shouldn't be worried about the release, Harry joked: “Oh we should. If you've heard the songs...we were scraping the barrel.”
