Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge might have only just had a baby but it seems the sporty royal is back to her fitness best as she's set to join a group of students at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London this week for a Sports Aid workshop.

The 32 year-old, who is known to be a keen sportswoman, is patron of charity Sports Aid and will be lending her support to their athletes workshop at the Copper Box arena on Friday, October 18. The Duchess became patron of the charity, which helps athletes reach their potential, in April and the event will mark her first official appearance in this capacity.

Prince George's mum will be able to watch young atheletes as they take part in a various sports including wheelchair basketball, football, volleyball and badmington. She'll also be joining the athletes and their parents at educational workshops covering everything from dietary advice to media training.

No doubt Kate, who was quite talented when it came to sport during her school days, will be listening in for advice on what to give her little athlete to be Prince George of Cambridge. With two pretty sporty parents and grandmother Carole Middleton, we're guessing George won't have much choice when it comes to getting out and excercising.

Founded in 1976, Sports Aid claims on it's website that it helped around two-thirds of the successful British team at the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games at some point during their sports careers. Kate was at the London Olympics as an official ambassasdor nearly every day during the 2012 games, attending 18 events.

She clearly proved a good luck charm as Team GB scooped five gold medals, two silver and three bronze when the Duchess was watching - more than any other royal!
