Heidi Montag is feeling the best that she has in years after getting rid of breast implants that weighted around 3lbs each and resulting her having health problems.

The former MTV The Hills and Laguna Beach star had a reduction from an F cup to a C on October 4, following her operation three years ago.

Her more manageable boobs took six hours under the knife and she shows them off in the new issue of Us Weekly in a Santa Barbara, California beach photoshoot.

"I couldn't conceptualise the weight of them in my body," the 27-year-old admitted. "They felt like bowling balls on my chest."

Heidi’s heavy chest saw her develop back and neck problems, as well as numbness in her arms.

So she had a meeting with reconstructive specialist Jay Orringer who suggested she got the implants replaced.

"I'm the new, new, new Heidi!" she exclaimed to the tabloid, adding that she would be scared to get more surgery.

Her husband Spencer Pratt may play the evil guy on TV but her apparently helped nurse her back to health.

In 2010 she had a whopping 10 procedure plastic surgery marathon that included breast implants, liposuction and a nose revision.

Entertainment Tonight will show the footage of her latest cosmetic surgery, which includes a clip of Heidi saying "I just wanna, like, rip them off!”

Heidi has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2009, and has starred alongside her husband in reality shows such as I'm a Reality Star Get Me Out of Here and the British version of Celebrity Big Brother, where they quickly became one of the most hated couples in the show's history.

They ended up becoming the season's runners-up.
