Glee actor Matthew Morrison has opened up about the days following Cory Monteith's death earlier this year, revealing that members of the cast of Glee were on hand to run errands for Lea Michele because she couldn't leave her house.
The actor who plays the role of Will Schuester in the hit show is reported by WENN as recalling:
"We’d shop for her… It was kind of a mess, like, the paparazzi were just outside her house and she couldn’t leave… We’d go to the grocery store and have dinners and stuff.”
Praising Lea for how she dealt with the tragedy that surrounded her when Cory - her on and off screen boyfriend - passed away, Matthew reportedly continued to say:
"I think she’s the strongest one of us all. She’s so focused on the work and stuff… We could have had a lot longer of a break (from the show after Monteith’s death) but I think she needed to have work to kind of calm things down in her mind.
"She’s great. She’s doing really, really well.”
Meanwhile, Lea has praised the hit show and her fellow cast members saying they are her "family."
The actress who has had a tough year with the tragic death of her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith, spoke highly of the show and her cast members. Speaking to E! News at the L'Oreal Women of Worth event in NYC, Lea who plays the role of Rachel Berry, said:
"They're my family and it just made sense that we would all want to be back together so that we have each other for support and I love everyone there so, so very much."
But that's not all she said about her love for the show as she gushed about the cast to Extra at the same event.
She said: "I have the most incredible family. I love my dear friends. They are always there for me and so wonderful. I'm so thankful for them."
Singling out Amber Riley, Lea continued to comment: "I've got to give a shout out to Miss Amber Riley. She's the best. I love her so much. I'm so proud of her [and] she's been there for me so much through everything.
"I'm so thankful this year for those friends and my family."
