Paul Walker's 'Funeral Plans Underway' As Family Prepare For Emotional Goodbye

The Fast and Furious actor's family are reportedly trying to bring all his loved ones together

Paul Walker's family are in the midst of planning an emotional final goodbye to the Fast and Furious actor a week on from his tragic death, with funeral plans thought to be underway now the autopsy has been completed.

Walker died last Saturday in a Los Angeles car crash after a Porsche driven by his friend Roger Rodas hit a lamppost and burst into flames. Mr Rodas, who was Walker's financial adviser as well as owning a custom car shop with the actor, also lost his life in the crash. report that Walker's family are hoping to bring all of his friends and colleagues together for the funeral:

"They have not decided when the funeral will take place, it is still a work in progress," said a source. "They want to make sure that everyone who wants to mourn will be together and all schedules match. They hopefully will have more of an idea next week," the source added.

It's thought the family are now free to make arrangements following the autopsy results which came earlier this week.

CNN reported that they determine that driver Rodas died of multiple traumatic injuries.

Walker meanwhile died of the combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries, the Los Angeles county coroner's office state. The deaths were ruled to be accidental while toxicology results are pending, and could take several weeks.

The funeral plans follow a week of mourning from Walker's family, friends, fans and colleagues with his Fast and Furious co-stars Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Vin Diesel and Christopher Bridges aka Ludacris seen gathering at the makeshift memorial where fans have been leaving tributes to the actor, in the days after the crash.

Vin Diesel starred in five out of six of the Fast and Furious franchise, also visited the crash site in Santa Clarita on Monday ahead of the stars' private memorial.

Addressing the crowd Diesel said: "The love that you’ve shown Paul…it’s going to stay with me forever. "I just want to say thank you for coming down here and showing the angel in heaven how much you appreciate him."
