Lindsay Lohan might be rumoured to be writing a tell-all book, but it looks like we might be getting some music before we get her first autobiography as the star teased pictures of herself in a music studio last night.

The troubled actress, who appears to have turned her life around following a stint in rehab earlier this year, posted pictures to her Instagram page which showed her sitting at a mixing desk. She also posted an image of a record by The Kills, leading to speculation she might be working with Mr Kate Moss, Jamie Hince.

So could LiLo be returning to music? She previously released two albums when she was a clean cut Disney star and now she's got her life back on track perhaps she's going to channel her feeling - into music.

She's certainly a fan of music and hungout backstage at a recent Jingle Bell Ball in New York.

It was also reported the 27 year-old had been signed up to pen her personal memoirs. It hasn't been an easy for years for the Mean Girls star who has had multiple visits to rehab aswell as run-ins with the law.

TMZ reports that Lindsay has already met with a well-known literary agency in New York about having her written work published, with the meet featuring in her eight-part documentary on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network.

According to the source, Li-Lo's book is still in the developing stages and has no clear direction as of yet, but the Hollywood actress is said to be totally happy to open up about every part of her life - good and bad.
