Katy Perry Shocks In Curtain Inspired Gown At Beatles 'The Night That Changed America' Grammy Tribute

Was she channeling Elizabeth Taylor?

Katy Perry performed at the 'Beatles The Night That Changed America' event in Los Angeles on Monday and caused a stir on the red carpet as she arrived decked out in what appeared to be a pair of floral curtain.

While the concert was a Grammy Salute to the Beatles, it seems Katy was eager to steal the spotlight in an opinion splitting Dolce and Gabbana gown that looked a little like she'd wrapped herself in a reams of material in a garis print from the 1960s.

Perhaps the star thought she'd pay tribute to the iconic musicians by dressing like she'd just stepped out the Sixties?

Her outfit was reminscent of something Elizabeth Taylor might have slipped into and with Perry's hair scrapped into a beehive, we wonder if the Cleopatra star was her inspiration on the night?

It was a change of tune from the night before where the Roar star put everything on display as she walked the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. Opting for a sheer Valentino gown straight from the couture runway, her underwear was pretty visible as she arrived at music' biggest night. Can't we get a happy medium Katy?
