Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr performed at The Grammys on Sunday evening and the showbiz pair treated yet another star- studded audience to a night of music at their special 50th anniversary concert yesterday.

The stars were snapped outside the Los Angeles Convention Center yesterday before they performed at The Night That Changed America: Grammy Salute To The Beatles alongside the likes of Katy Perry, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder and Annie Lennox, who all helped the duo celebrate with them on stage.

The gig comes after the two surviving members of The Beatles were awarded the prestigious Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement award at this year's Grammys.

They performed a rendition of McCartney's much-loved track Queenie Eye at the annual bash, that took place at the Staples Centre.

While the performance was a highlight in itself, it also seemed to spell the end of an ongoing feud between Yoko Ono, the widow of the band's late singer John Lennon, and the surviving members as she was seen getting up on her feet and dancing along as Sir Paul and Ringo rocked the stage.

After their set, Sir Paul made a gesture of goodwill by heading over to greet Yoko and embracing her hands before bowing to a standing ovation, finally brushing aside their rift.

The 71-year-old addressed their spat last year in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in which he said: “She's bada**. Time, the great healer. I thought, 'If John loved her, there's got to be something. He's not stupid. George [Harrison] would say to me, 'You don't want stuff like that hanging around in your life.”
