Need a special song to make your Valentine’s Day date great? Try Mariah Carey’s new single You’re Mine (Eternal), released just in time for the holiday of love.
Mariah debuted the music video for the original version of the single on MTV First.
“I want you to take away from this any romantic moments you’re having this Valentine’s Day and eternity,” she said while introducing the video.

The You’re Mine video was shot in Puerto Rico in the rainforest “to create awareness that we need to save the rainforest,” the pop diva said.
In the video, a topless Mariah sits beside a rushing waterfall and strategically hidden in the forest while she dreams of her lost lover, who is posing for a photo shoot back in New York City.
Her “Lambily” fans joined her in the MTV’s studios and each received a small gift from Mariah. The singer enjoyed MTV’s gift of Godiva chocolates sitting on the table in front of her.
“I’ve been having these all day,” Mariah admitted to the studio audience. “They’re going to have a collection of me eating Godiva chocolates and that’s not going to be very lady-like.”
Come on, who’s going to tell Mariah to not eat the deliciously sweet treats?
Nick Cannon’s wife played up the Valentine’s connection with the song’s cover art that features the favorite candy hearts. One reads “You’re Mine” and the other reads “(Eternal).” The artist’s “MC” emblem is printed on a third heart.

Mariah also recorded a remix version with Trey Songz to kick the love song up a notch.
“I love what he did to the song. I feel like he gave us a lot of different moments artistically,” she said of the rapper.
