UK fans are used to her banging on about her swagger, but Cher Lloyd's US followers got to see a glimpse of her softer side today with the premiere of new single 'Sirens'.
The midtempo pop ballad is the second cut from her upcoming LP Sorry I'm Late, and fans are unanimous in their praise for her impressive belty vocals and the slight shift in musical direction.
'Sirens' had its first play on Sirius XM this morning, and the former X Factor star tweeted beforehand: "Getting really excited now! It's been such a long time since I felt like this!!!! #SirensWorldPremiere".

Cher is set to join Demi Lovato on her North American Neon Lights tour next week, taking the baton from fellow X Factor grads Little Mix in one of two support slots, alongside Fifth Harmony.
So in this period of exciting career developments, the star has taken the opportunity to give her look a massive overhaul; debuting her blonde ombre locks on Instagram last night.

Cher was one of the former Girls Aloud star's mentees back in 2010, and - despite their differences - the 'Swagger Jagger' chart-topper has often been seen as something of a mini-me for Chezza.
The newlywed 20-year-old departed the label owned by X Factor boss Simon Cowell following the release of her debut album, due to creative differences.
