Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke has admitted that she's on a horrific diet for her new role in Terminator: Genesis, but she's not the first star to embark on a super strict weight loss plan.

The 26-year-old British star is having to undergo a strict regime to prepare for her role as Sarah Conner in the new Terminator movie, and that means a ban on a lot of the foods that she loves. All wheat, sugar, caffeine and dairy are banned.

"Everything on these plates look amazing but, heartbreakingly, I'm not allowed to eat any of it," she said. "Not one thing on this table. Except a cup of tea. One cup of tea. No sugar. No cream."

Emilia isn't the first star to resort to such extreme tactics though, either for a part or to keep those fit bodies in shape. Check out these tricks below, warning don't try at home!
