Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Mel B, Melanie C and Victoria Beckham have recorded a video message apologizing to their fans for cancelling the final leg of their Spice Girl Reunion tour.
The 90s pop group claim that the high demand for tickets in the U.K. and the U.S. made it "impossible" to complete the final leg of their tour - which includes stops in Europe and Asia.
The band also announced that their concerts had partly been pulled due to "family and personal commitments".
"We want you to hear it from the horse's mouth," says Melanie Chisolm in the video. "We're really sorry we've been unable to get to all the places we want."
"Sorry we haven't got to see everybody," adds Posh. "We had a great time."
Meanwhile fans in Australia have hit back at the group, insisting that the girls - who will wrap up their tour at the end of February - have made a quick buck and run.
One fan writes: "They have known all along when their kids go to school or whatever. It's a crappy excuse, really it's all just about money... they've made enough now so who cares about anywhere else right?"
And other fans have turned their backs on the pop stars for good.
"I am absolutely disgusted in them. Most of us have been waiting years for this and they have just ruined it all for us. As far as I am concerned, they have just lost another fan. So much for girl power."
