Kate Moss and Jamie Hince wed on Friday and have been partying ever since! Their three-day celebrations didn’t come cheap, with reports claiming it cost them £1million.
According to the News of the World, Kate said to a guest: "S***! It's topped a million now." Topship boss Philip Green reportedly made an offer to help pay, and Kate’s dad, Peter gave £50,000, but Kate herself footed the majority of the bill.
The extravagant party clocked up the pounds by having a Cristal champagne fountain, six marquees, and a huge amount of entertainment from acrobats and a Venetian masked ball to performances from the likes of Shirley Bassey. The five-tier wedding cake alone is reported to have cost £10,000.
Other details of the reception have started to trickle through too. Kate and Jamie chose Bryan Ferry’s If There Is Something as their first dance, and Jefferson Hack (Kate’s daughter Lila Grace’s dad) then spun some tunes in a DJ set.
Their guests’ children were catered for too, with a special children's marquee complete with a 10 nannies and two drama teachers putting on plays.
On Saturday, Jamie hosted a pub lunch at The Swan and then the “MossStock” festival took place with performances from Beth Ditto, Shirley Bassey, Bryan Ferry, Snoop Dogg and Iggy Pop.
We wouldn't have expected anything less!
Kate knows how to party...
