When Beyonce brought her new fashion line over for London Fashion Week this weekend, and she had expected one of her biggest cheerleaders to be sitting front row, but after delaying the Selfridges show by 45 minutes, Gwyneth Paltrow was still a no-show.
The pregnant '1+1' singer attended the London launch of her House of Dereon range with her mother, Tina Knowles, but had hoped that Gwynnie would be making an appearance - apparently not.
Beyonce delayed her catwalk show by 45 minutes hoping that the actress would show up, but while the team, models and audience were ready for the green light, the singer was holding out for her buddy.
"Beyonce halted the whole thing because she thought Gwyneth was about to arrive," a source told The Sun. "She kept calling her but she didn't show. People couldn't wait any longer and they had to get on with it."
The insider also added: "Beyonce wasn't angry. She was just disappointed."
Gwyneth, who attended the Emmy Awards last night, has been supportive of Beyonce this last year, and has been a key figure at her shows including her headline performance at Glastonbury and reportedly giving her key tips for her pregnancy.
But attending Beyonce's event, including her party at Under The Bridge in Chelsea, were Alexandra Burke, The Saturdays, Dionne Bromfield, Paloma Faith and Ellie Goulding.
