Justin Bieber has admitted he is experimenting with current musical trends such as dubstep on his upcoming album.
The teen phenomenon, who releases Christmas LP Under The Mistletoe this week, is half-way through work on his next "proper" record Believe.
Speaking to USA Today, he said: "I'm about halfway through. I'm experimenting.
"What's big right now are beats that are in the clubs, like dubstep. So I want to mess with that stuff, but also stay me."
Justin has already confirmed he has been working with Drake and Kanye West, after teaming up with Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, Usher and Busta Rhymes on Under The Mistletoe.
Of the Carey duet, which is a re-recording of her massive hit 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', manager Scooter Braun said "That was the hardest song to do. A year ago that would have been no problem."
Bieber added: "Yes, that was high, but I grinded it out and we got it down."
What a great turn of phrase...
