Jessica Simpson pushed out the boat to welcome her baby girl Maxwell Drew Johnson earlier this week by paying £4,000 a day on her exclusive birthing suite.
The new mother, who announced the news of her daughter's birth along with her fiance Eric Johnson on her website yesterday, was paying $3,784 per night for the three-bedroom suite, which also houses two bathrooms.
But like every woman in labour, you might require the suite's services of a haircut and style, or spa treatments like a manicure or pedicure that the hospital offers. (Not sure that that would be as effective as gas and air though...)
Also included in the suite at the Cedars Sinai hospital, are "complimentary chilled juices and bottled water" and not to mention the "stereo/CD player, flat screen television and DVD player".
While Jessica and Eric were probably exhausted following the birth, they could make use of the private dinner for two which is included in the deluxe package.
"You will share a very special meal, choosing your dinner from a menu specially catered for this occasion. "Extra touches, such as a linen tablecloth and napkins and chilled juices on ice, help make this a special dining experience."
The Fashion Star mentor, who tweeted about the show last night following the elimination of a contestant, gave birth to Maxwell, who weighed 9lbs 13 oz.
On her official website, Jessica wrote: "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson.
"We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers we have received. This is been the greatest experience of our lives."
