Kim Kardashian has defended her mother Kris Jenner for making millions through her children, claiming the criticism is “ridiculous”.
Speaking candidly during an interview with the entire Kardashian clan on Oprah’s Next Chapter, the 31 year-old insisted that having Kris as her “momager” works.
”I think that’s so ridiculous,” she told Oprah in the interview that aired in the US last night. “First of all, we have to hire a manager. So regardless, someone is going to get that [job]. No one will fight harder for you than your own mother."
“She knows us," Kim also added. "She knows all of our moods…We just get each other. We vibe. It works.”
The self-confessed ‘momager’, who is currently starring in the seventh series of Keeping Up With The Kardashians has been criticised for using her family to make cash, putting ratings ahead of the welfare of her children. This is especially when it comes to her youngest daughters Kylie and Kendall who despite being teenagers already have modelling careers of their own.
Reacting to the accusation, Kris acknowledged that there are stories that depict her as “pimping out her children” but claims she feels grateful to get paid to spend time with her family.
