Khloe Kardashian has admitted that step-father Bruce Jenner was against her marriage to basketball player Lamar Odom.
The couple became engaged after only one month after meeting in the summer of 2009 and the Olympic star was dead against it.
Speaking in an interview with the whole family by Oprah Winfrey for Oprah’s Next Chapter the star said it had been a crazy move.
“I knew that was the right thought, but in my heart…” she said according to HollywoodLife. When asked if she thought getting married so quickly was “crazy” the 27 year-old agreed.
“Yes, I did. But in the moment you couldn’t have told me otherwise," she explained.
The couple, who celebrate their third wedding anniversary this September have one of the strongest relationships in the Kardashian clan, so must have made the right decision.
Speaking of their three-year marriage the star said that she doesn’t feel pressure from the public to succeed in the relationship.
“I don’t feel the pressure from outsiders. I’m not someone who is easily influenced by the public. This is my marriage this is my real life I feel the pressure from me, from myself to be a great wife.”
