Jenny McCarthy has posed nude for her sixth and final Playboy cover, and while she admits that she wanted to get in shape for the shoot, she didn't want to diet as Playboy "don't have the anorexic look", because the women they use are "voluptuous".
The 39-year-old turns 40 in November and has previously said she wanted to bare all in the magazine one more time before reaching the landmark age.
Jenny first appeared on Playboy Magazine in 1993, when she was Playmate of the Month, before she went on to be crowned Playmate of the year in 1994. The actress and TV host has gone on to pose numerous times for the men’s publication.
In the July/August issue she is seen channelling old Hollywood, with a red lip and smoky eye, her platinum blonde locks are styled in a slightly 1920s wave.
“I’m really proud of it," she told People magazine. "The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They’re really elegant. It’s probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you’d see of people with their clothes on.”
“This point in my life has been the most fun, sexual extravaganza. The orgasms are night-and-day better. I feel 100 billion times more sexual, and that comes out in this pictorial.”
The model, who is currently dating sports star Brian Urlacher, revealed in the Playboy interview about the most common thing female fans say to her, “‘You’re on my husband’s list.’ I hear that a lot.”
On preparing for the shoot she says she didn't have time to diet, “The one thing I like about Playboy is they don’t have the anorexic look. The women are voluptuous. So I didn’t really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up.”
The July/August issue of Playboy magazine hits newsstands today.
