Kristen Stewart is said to be "heartbroken" as Robert Pattinson has said that he wants to keep custody of their rescue dog Bear and now the actress is said to be seeking 'joint custody'.
Kristen, 22, was pictured enjoying an affair with married father-of-two Rupert Sanders and has since released a statement admitting her guilt, and it's thought that her relationship with her 'Twilight' co-star Rob has now come to an end.
Even though the couple don't have any children together, their dog Bear is at the centre of what could be a 'bitter' custody battle.
It's thought that Kristen won't be giving up the pup too easily especially after she nursed him back to full health after a near-fatal battle with the disease Parvo.
The cute mix-breed has also been seen alongside her in different locations for work.

"After Rob moved his things out of their Los Angeles apartment, he then told Kristen he wanted Bear. She was heartbroken - they adopted Bear together and she always felt that he was their little baby," the insider told the site.
"But Rob was so hurt by Kristen's actions he decided that he wants the dog to help him get over what happened. After all, a dog is a man's best friend and Bear is such a good companion."
The continued: "However, Kristen won't give up Bear in a hurry. She helped Rob save Bear from Parvo disease, which nearly took its life when it was a puppy. She wants joint custody - and it could get a little messy."
"Robert and Kristen were looking into the possibility of adopting another dog. They were desperate for a play pal for Bear.... But it seems that’s out of the question now," the added.
