She’s been secretly suffering from mass hair loss after years of weaves and extensions for the catwalks took their toll, but Naomi Campbell thought she’d put her barnet troubles aside and be a true professional by hosting a charity dinner last night.
And it’s nothing a bit of skillful red carpet tactics couldn’t fix as the 42-year-model looked nothing less than perfect at the event held at Downtown Mayfair, west London.
Naomi, who has received a lot of criticism throughout her modelling career, in particular her rumoured diva personality, didn’t let the press phase her for her special night and as she whisked into the hotel to host the Olympic Celebration Dinner in partnership with Fashion For Relief and Interview Magazine.
The Streatham-born beauty donned a floor-length black dress featuring a lacy deep neckline, teamed with bohemian jewellery and her fake locks in a sleek, straight style.

Other guests at the high-profile bash included Kate Moss, 38, who looked like a frumpy mummy in a loose fitting ankle-grazing black tunic emblazoned with gold designs, teamed with strappy black and gold sandals, failing to channel the far eastern look like she intended.
It was Mick Jagger’s daughter, model Georgia May Jagger, who stole the show in a simplistic yet stunning LBD with cut out detailing on the neckline and sleeves, finished off with elegant cream sandal heels and her hair worn in an off-duty model style. Love the look!
Naomi said of the London Olympics: ‘’The 2012 Olympics have been remarkable - I am elated for Team GB and the extraordinary success they have had so far,’’ reports the MailOnline.
''It is a very special and proud time to be in London and to celebrate the outstanding talent, which has been showcased during the games.’’
''I wish everyone taking part in London 2012 continued strength, determination and perseverance for the remainder of the games,'’ she added.
