Liberty Ross and her philandering husband Rupert Sanders have reportedly had a 'marriage showdown' to try and repair their relationship following Rupert's affair with Kristen Stewart.
The married couple are said to have met up on Friday (August 24) at their Hollywood Hills home to thrash out their issues. The People reports that Liberty, who has been spotted without her wedding ring in recent weeks, gave her estranged hubby a "five point plan" which she hopes will save their marriage.
The plan reportedly includes a reworked pre-nup which gives Liberty better terms in the event they do divorce.
Since the pictures of Rupert's makeout session with his 'Snow White and The Huntsman' co star broke last month, it's been reported that the director is desperate to save his 15-year relationship with his wife. Photos of Liberty without her wedding ring however have sparked speculation that the model isn't so keen to forgive and forget.
According to The People though Liberty has had a change of heart and was the one to initiate the meeting with her husband. A source told the paper:
“There’s a five-point plan that Liberty has drafted up that she would need Rupert to follow and sign in order for her to consider dropping the lawsuit,"
“Rupert’s desperate to patch things up so I’m sure he’d do anything. There is one point on the plan I can’t discuss. But her list also includes a re-writing of their pre-nup to make it more balanced for Liberty in the event they do divorce."
Liberty has reportedly put any plans for divorce on hold whilst Rupert decides whether he can stick to the plan:
“Time will tell but, for now, no more depositions in the case are being taken while lawyers on both sides wait to see if Rupert can meet the criteria and, even if he does, if that will be good enough for Liberty to feel she can trust him again.”
We bet Kristen Stewart is hoping Robert Pattinson might come round to a reconciliation plan too...
