Looks like the promotion for the final instalment of the 'Twilight Saga', released in November 'Breaking Dawn Part 2' could be a complete disaster as Robert Pattinson has reportedly refused to agree to any promotion for the movie following the break down of his relationship with fellow lead, Kristen Stewart.
Robert has reportedly refused to officially agree to any personal appearances yet despite the studios insistence and according to the source it is, “because of the Kristen drama.”
Planning for the promotion, which would usually begin in October, around a month before the movie is released should have been decided by now but with Rob stalling the insider told the New York Daily News that plans are “really last minute” with the studio "freaking out" over the actor.
They are expecting the 26 year-old to appear in London, Madrid and Tokyo but with his personal life in turmoil they fear that Rob may not appear at all. “They're prepared for the fact that Rob might not want to, since he hasn't committed to anything yet,” the insider added.
The couple's future was thrown into doubt earlier this year after Kristen was caught cheating on Rob with married director Rupert Sanders and even if the couple do reconcile, they may opt to promote the movie separately to avoid speculation about their private lives. Previously it had been reported that Rob had vowed to walk the red carpet even if the couple were no longer together.
But the prospect of separate tours is not good news for the studio and even if Rob does commit to appearances the cost od separate tours could sky rocket.
A source revealed: “Taylor [Lautner], Kristen and Rob always fly together,”
“[They will] have to spend a lot more money on jets and other expenses.”
Another source claimed that to solve the problem, Ashley Greene is being lined up by Summit as the lead female for the final movie promotion with cheating Kristen sidelined over fears of a fan backlash.

A New York Post's Page Six source has claimed that “the studio's holding out to see if they get back together”, before adding: “I don't think anyone is banking on that happening. At this point, the press strategy would have been mapped out. It's usually very organised, but at this time it's undecided.”
Other stars will be relied upon to fill the void if the couple have to attend separate premieres, or refuse appearances completely with Kellan Luntz and Dakota Fanning playing a more visible role in promotion.
If Rob and Kristen don't get their relationship back on track, they “would attend separate premieres and Ashley Green would step in as the main lady.”
When asked by the NY Post about plans, while they wouldn't comment on personal lives, Summit claimed preparations for the movie were in moving "full steam ahead."
