He's only embarked on womenswear just a few seasons ago, but J.W Anderson is the next big thing in the British fashion industry and the latest addition to the short list of high-end UK designers to blitz London Fashion Week as well as boasting a star friendly front row.
The designer created a menswear line at the London Collections back in June featuring pink lace, black satin and headscarves, challenging the boundaries of androgyny to the max.
And his womens collection is no exception to the rule as it again pushes the limits of sex with its clinical, loose fits and bold prints.
Daisy Lowe and Pixie Geldof grace the FROW of J.W Anderson - Wenn
Last night's show was a serendipitously beautiful extravaganza opened up by ruffles, followed by planed of stripple-print and geometric grids with enamel-link chokers, crinkled metallic dresses and quilted bags, creating a whole new meaning of the word elegance.
Anderson has really come in to his own in designing a womenswear line which sets the bar against other high-end designers with it's seamed halterneck tops with cut outs to reveal a flash of shoulder, resulting in an enlightened sexiness and the start of something great for the designer and ladies' wardrobes.
Azealia Banks and Nicola Roberts heading into the show - Wenn
And the brand didn't fail to attract a host of super cool fashionista celebs such as Azealia Banks who graced the front row in a red wrap dress and fur shawl teamed with black patent riding boots, whilst model Daisy Lowe was cute in a monochrome outfit of a white buttoned up shirt, black pleated skirt and leather jacket to add some edge.
Other celebs in tow included Corrine Bailey-Rae, Nicola Roberts sporting a new hair style and Pixie Geldof looking as elegant as ever in a pretty abstract dress with her brunette locks scraped back into a chic updo.
