Despite the comparison between the two bands

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has taken to Twitter in support of X Factor 2012 finalists Union J, following the constant comparisons between the two bands.

Having decided to tune into to ITV1's X Factor on Sunday night to see who Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh were putting through to the live rounds, Louis, who found fame on the show when Simon Cowell and co put him with Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, tweeted:

"Yeyyyyy I really like Union J !!”

However, whilst Louis was pleased with er, Louis' decision to put the band through, he didn't think much of Nicole's decision to let go of Adam Burridge. Tweeting his dislike, Louis added:

“What the f*** is going on !?!?!?!? Adam was sick !!!!!”

Yes, quite.

However should the One Direction lads be worried about GMD3 as the new X Factor finalists were described as "vocally better" than One Direction by mentor Louis Walsh?

Talking to Caroline Flack on the Xtra Factor, the judge commented: "From the very first audition I knew they were something special. They were just naturally amazing vocals.

"Vocally yes [they are better than One Direction]. They are world class."

What do you think?
